Dream League Soccer Defenders Rush Forward and Leave Easy Goals

I play Dream League Soccer on iPhone and I can not take the predictability of this game anymore. Right off kickoff my defenders decide to bomb it forward on a dead sprint, even when I am not trying to push them up. This leaves a huge gap in my defence and allows tall strikers like Haaland to run straight through on goal and score far too easily. The worst part is that I use the same type of players myself, so I can see how unbalanced and scripted these situations are on both sides. I just want this game to be less predictable, with more realistic defending and AI behaviour, so that the outcome of matches depends more on my input and tactics instead of the same patterns repeating every time from kickoff.
