Dentavita Refund Claim: Dental Veneer Fraud & Hidden Costs
I am a UK patient who travelled to Dentavita Istanbul for 10 E-max veneers, 10 E-max crowns, an implant and extraction. After I arrived, the agreed E-max crowns were changed to zirconium crowns without any explanation being given to me. At my UK consultation Dr Berk also told me he would personally treat me. He did not. After I arrived in Turkey, multiple additional/non-agreed charges were added, including a £500 implant “upgrade” and £800 specialist gum treatment. The £800 treatment did not happen and was eventually refunded after I repeatedly challenged it. Other disputed additional charges were not refunded. The advanced digital-guided implant technology presented to me was not used for my implant. I also experienced pressure surrounding cash payments and was not provided with a proper tax invoice for substantial payments. After a week in Turkey, my final fitting was left until approximately 8pm before my flight home. The laminates did not fit correctly and my paid treatment could not be completed. Dr Beyza recognised the problem and brought external specialist Dr Eren M*** into my case. I am extremely grateful to them both; Dr Eren ultimately provided excellent treatment. Dentavita verbally agreed to cover my flights, accommodation and transfers for a necessary second trip to complete my treatment. I was then largely ignored and had to arrange and pay for the return myself. My specific return costs were £1,896.21. Dentavita later offered £725 for flights, deducted £300 for a retainer and agreed to transfer £425. That £425 has still not been paid despite my final written deadline. Throughout this experience I found Dentavita management rude, dismissive and unprofessional and repeatedly had to chase serious concerns. I require Dentavita to immediately pay the agreed £425 and reimburse the remainder of the £1,896.21 return costs it originally agreed to cover.
