If Cursor logged you out on another device and you want to keep sessions active on multiple machines;
Check account session limits first;
• Log in → Settings → Account / Security
• Look for:
– Active sessions
– Device management
– Session limits
• Some plans restrict simultaneous logins
Review your plan type;
• Free or basic plans may limit devices
• Team/Pro plans may allow multiple sessions
• Confirm your subscription tier
Avoid triggering security flags;
• Don’t log in/out repeatedly
• Avoid using VPNs that change locations often
• Keep consistent IP/location if possible
Enable persistent login;
• Make sure “Remember me” is checked
• Avoid Incognito/Private browsing
• Ensure cookies are enabled
Update app/browser;
• Install latest version of Cursor
• Clear cache only if sessions fail repeatedly
Use separate profiles (if needed);
• On browsers, create separate profiles per device
• Avoid sharing credentials across many machines at once
Contact Cursor Support;
• Explain you’re being logged out across devices
• Provide:
– Account email
– Devices used (OS + browser/app version)
• Ask them to:
– Confirm device/session limits
– Enable multi-device access (if available)
If unresolved, consider adjusting to a plan that supports multiple active sessions.
