Columbia Sweatpants Seam Came Apart After Only Two Wears

Approximately three months ago, I purchased a pair of Columbia AO8583 Triple Canyon PA sweatpants from the Columbia store located in İzmir Westpark Mall. Despite wearing the product only twice, I noticed that the stitching below the left knee had come apart. It is even possible that this defect existed at the time of purchase and was not immediately noticeable.

The product had never been washed in a washing machine and was still in nearly new condition when I submitted it for inspection. After waiting 15 business days, I received the product back without any repair, replacement, or meaningful resolution. The inspection report stated that the issue was not caused by a manufacturing or material defect. As a result, my claim was rejected, and the product was returned to me in the same defective condition.

I find this conclusion unreasonable. A premium product that cost approximately ₺7,500 should not experience seam failure after being worn only twice under normal use. The fact that the product was neither repaired nor replaced despite such limited use has seriously damaged my confidence in the brand and its after-sales support process.

I believe the defect is related to production quality and that the inspection was not conducted fairly or objectively. Therefore, I request that my case be reviewed again, that the product be reexamined, and that my defective Columbia AO8583 Triple Canyon PA sweatpants be replaced with a new product or otherwise resolved in a manner that eliminates my ongoing grievance.

I expect Columbia to stand behind the quality of its products and provide a fair solution to this issue as soon as possible.
