BetterMe Refuses To Refund My Money
In January 2026, I purchased a BetterMe “Home Pilates” subscription directly via the BetterMe website, paying by card. After some time I decided not to continue, followed the cancellation instructions in the app, and was under the clear impression that my subscription had been successfully cancelled. I therefore stopped using the program and did not expect any further charges. Despite this, on 27.03.2026 I noticed that my card had been charged again for a new three‑month period. Since I had already cancelled and had not used the service afterwards, I consider this renewal unauthorized and contrary to my expectations at the time of cancellation. I immediately contacted BetterMe support to request a refund of this three‑month charge. However, my request was refused with the explanation that my refund reason does not match their Money‑Back Policy, which focuses on lack of visible results and requires proof of consecutive workout sessions via screenshots. In my case, I am not asking for a refund because I am unhappy with the results, but because I had cancelled the subscription, stopped using the app, and did not consent to a new renewal period. I request a full and immediate refund of the three‑month charge dated 27.03.2026 and confirmation that my BetterMe Home Pilates subscription is fully cancelled so that no further payments will be taken from my card.
