Babyliss Item Turns Off Due to a Touch Sensitivity Issue

I haven't had the chance to use the product I purchased because I initially thought it was turning off due to the buttons being at the top, but later I realized it has a touch sensitivity issue. When I noticed this, I put the product in my bag to take it to the manufacturer. However, when I opened my bag at work, I saw that it was broken. I was very surprised. I contacted the company, and their solution was to offer a discount. It is disheartening to be offered a discount for a product I couldn't even use, and it doesn't seem like a proper resolution. I am very disappointed with the solution offered by the brand.
