Avast Forces Recurring Charges Through Closed Credit Card Account Without Approval

In the past, I used the annual Avast Premium Security package, but I did not wish to continue as I was unsatisfied with the service. Despite having no active subscription or approved auto-renewal instruction, Avast attempted to charge my closed credit card without my consent or authorization.

Although I received error messages from my bank for days regarding failed payment attempts, the Avast system persistently forced through two separate duplicate transactions on July 26 and July 27, 2026, using my old card number. A total of two separate amounts were deducted from my card: 206.31 TRY on July 27, 2026, and 309.52 TRY on July 26, 2026. I find these transactions completely irregular given that I have no active subscription or approved renewal authorization.

I am filing a complaint against Avast due to this practice of incurring debt on consumers without their consent. I demand the immediate refund of the 206.31 TRY and 309.52 TRY amounts deducted without my authorization, as well as the permanent deletion of all my membership and card information registered in your system.
