Amazon Marked Gift Card Sent but My Friend Never Received It

I purchased a regular $50 Apple gift card on Amazon last night at around 9:30 PM using my Visa card. The site indicated that the gift card had been sent, but my friend has still not received it, and there is no code available for them to redeem. My friend called me this morning to let me know that they had not received the gift card. When I checked, I saw that Amazon showed it as sent, yet there is still no usable code and no gift card in my friend’s possession. I then tried calling the 888 customer service number, but all I received was an automated message saying that they could not hear me, and I was unable to reach an agent or get any support regarding this missing gift card. I request that this issue be resolved by having the gift card and its redemption code resent so that my friend can actually receive and use it. If resending the gift card and code is not possible or does not work, I expect a full refund of the $50 back to my Visa card.
