Alibaba “App Temporarily Locked” Message — What It Means and How to Solve It
Today, I created a new account on Alibaba.com. However, when I tried to log in, I received the following warning:
“We’ve temporarily locked your account to keep it secure. Verify your identity to regain access.”
After signing in with my email, I entered the verification code I received. But when I tried to verify my phone number, I encountered another error:
“The country you selected does not match the country used when creating your account. Please check and try again.”
I tried multiple times using my own phone number with the +90 Turkey code, but the issue persisted. I even attempted with different country codes, yet I still received the same error.
During this process, I contacted customer support, but I only received automated responses, and the issue remains unresolved. Although my account has no transactions or orders, I still cannot access it, even though I’m trying to log in for the first time.
I request support to unlock my account and restore my login access as soon as possible.
