My Akbank Credit Card Limit Is Not Closed

I closed my Akbank credit card and salary card over a month ago, but my new bank, VakıfBank, is refusing to issue me a credit card because Akbank has not closed my credit card with a ₺114,000 limit. How can a closed credit card still show a ₺114,000 limit? Despite visiting Akbank branches many times and writing to their complaint line repeatedly, my issue remains unresolved. They are only causing further inconvenience. I initially chose Akbank for their promotion, but in February my account was accessed by unknown individuals who withdrew all my money and took out loans in my name. Akbank refused to take responsibility for this. Now, after switching to a new bank, Akbank still won’t remove my credit limit. If you’re considering switching to this bank for minor benefits like I did, believe me, it’s not worth it.
