Akbank Business Card Lost and Used for Unauthorized Contactless Payments

On November 11, 2025, my Akbank Business credit card was lost in Maltepe, Istanbul, and unauthorized transactions began immediately afterward. Even though I later made a PIN-verified transaction, the card continued to be used easily because it automatically allowed contactless payments and did not block itself even when the PIN was entered incorrectly. When I called the lost/stolen card hotline, I was told that neither my card nor my record existed, and I was constantly transferred between different departments, which caused significant delays in opening a report. During this time, contactless transactions continued on my card. Despite submitting multiple complaint requests, all updates and notifications were sent to my old phone number (which no longer belongs to me), meaning my card information was shared with someone else. When I called my Maltepe branch representative, I was redirected to the call center, and the call center told me to go back to the branch. I received no clear help from either side, and approximately ₺3,300 in unauthorized spending was made on my card. Previously, I also experienced inconsistencies in my card statement amounts and received no response regarding that issue either. Throughout this entire process, neither the call center nor the branch provided any solution or support. I request that all unauthorized transactions on my card be canceled, my loss be compensated, and my contact information be updated so that future communication is delivered correctly to me.
