Akbank Blocked My Account and Didn’t Refund My Money

On August 6, 2025, I paid ₺900 from my Akbank account for a bus ticket purchased through Obilet.com with PNR number 2M300G10J. After the transaction, my refund request was accepted, and I received an SMS stating, “Your refund will be deposited into your account.” However, even after two months, the money has not been refunded, and my account remains blocked. During this period, I have contacted customer service multiple times, but each time I receive a different explanation — one day they say “it appears under pending transactions,” another day “it’s in the branch pool.” When I visit the branch, I am told, “it doesn’t appear in our pool.” I also filed complaints via email and SMS and was told to continue through the branch, but no solution has been provided there either. No clear explanation has been given for why my account is blocked, only that “the compliance unit” has prevented any action. I have been seriously inconvenienced by this situation. I request that Akbank promptly deposit my ₺900 refund into my account and resolve my grievance.
