Can I get a cleaning-fee refund from Airbnb if the place was dirty?

If the house was dirty or not cleaned correctly when you got there, you can ask Airbnb for a return of the cleaning cost.

You have 72 hours after check-in to report the problem using the AirCover for Guests area. You must include clear images or videos as proof.

Airbnb will get in touch with the host to work things out. If the owner doesn't answer or refuses to rectify it, Airbnb may give you back some or all of the cleaning charge or a partial stay refund.
