Yves Saint Laurent Libre Perfume Bottle Mechanics Failed Right Out of the Box

I purchased my Yves Saint Laurent Libre perfume from Duty Free in February 2026. I had not used the product since that date; it remained stored untouched inside its original box. When I attempted to use the product in May, I discovered a manufacturing defect in the bottle mechanism. Because the spray mechanism is defective, I attempted to prime it repeatedly to dispense the fragrance, but the product refuses to spray, making the perfume impossible to use.

Despite storing the product in complete accordance with proper conditions—kept closed and protected—encountering this issue has severely shaken my trust in the brand. I have not yet held formal discussions with the retail store or the brand, but I wish to initiate the process with this complaint.

I demand that my unusable YSL Libre perfume be evaluated under manufacturing defects and that a brand-new, fully functional replacement unit be sent to me.
