YouTube Premium Promo Code Charged My Card
Today, I tried to activate a YouTube Premium subscription using a 2-month free YouTube Premium promotional code that I received through Trendyol. I entered the code on YouTube without any issues, and the system accepted it without displaying any error or warning messages. After the code was accepted, I was prompted to enter my payment information, so I provided my card details and completed the process.
However, after the transaction was completed, my YouTube account was given only a 1-month YouTube Premium subscription, and my card was charged $3. I did not receive the promised 2-month free Premium benefit, and I was charged for a one-month subscription without expecting it. The charge is currently reflected in my bank account.
I do not believe this issue was caused by Trendyol. In my view, it resulted from an error in YouTube's promotional code redemption or subscription activation process. I respectfully request that YouTube honor the promotion by applying the full 2-month free YouTube Premium subscription to my account and refund the $3 that was charged to my card.
