YouGov Collected My Personal Data Without Providing a Privacy Notice

Today, as part of YouGov’s Mystery Shopper program, I was asked to provide detailed personal information, including my full name, IBAN, home address, and phone number. While collecting this information, I was told that a Multinet card would be issued in my name. However, at no point during this process was I presented with a contract, consent form, or Personal Data Protection (KVKK) privacy notice, nor was my explicit written or digital consent obtained.

I also received no explanation regarding the purpose of collecting my personal data, how long it would be retained, or which third parties it might be shared with. This situation has caused me serious concern because it creates the risk that a card, subscription, business relationship, company registration, or other account could be opened in my name without my informed consent.

I request that YouGov permanently delete all of the personal data collected from me as part of its Mystery Shopper program from its own systems and from any third parties with whom the information has been shared. I also request written confirmation that no Multinet card, subscription, business partnership, company registration, or similar account or service will be created in my name, along with a clear written explanation confirming that my request has been fully carried out.
