Concerned About Security After Using My X Account for Rewards

I used to access certain sites and mini-games with my X account that offered small rewards. In the past three weeks, I logged into a few of these sites with my account, but didn’t receive any rewards. After these activities, I forgot to change my password, and soon after, I started receiving inappropriate notifications, view requests, follows, and interactions with illegal sites via X. Unauthorized tweets and alerts also began showing up on my feed.

After changing my password, the problem was resolved, although I noticed several login attempts from unknown locations. Could this issue be related to the sites I accessed for rewards? I’m concerned that these sites might have compromised my account. Any advice or insights on this would be greatly appreciated.
