Wyndham Award Night Rooms Never Became Available

I want to use my Wyndham Rewards points to book an Award Night stay at Ramada by Wyndham Lara for August 1–7, 2026. I have been checking the Wyndham app every day for the past seven months, and the Award Night option has never become available for my selected dates.

However, when we called the hotel today to ask about availability, the employee we spoke with told us that all rooms allocated for Award Night bookings had already been reserved. This makes no sense because Award Night reservations for those dates were never made available through the Wyndham system. If the reservations were never opened, how were these rooms booked, and by whom?

No one could explain how the Award Night inventory had already been exhausted even though the reservations never appeared in the system. The hotel representative repeatedly stated that she could not view the Wyndham app. I have personally checked the app every day for months, and the Award Night option was never available for these dates. The hotel had previously told us that Award Night reservations would open in March, so we relied on that information and waited. Because of that advice, we missed the opportunity to book other hotels, which are now fully booked.

This is not the first time I have received incorrect information regarding Wyndham Rewards. We are repeatedly referred to staff members who are supposed to handle Wyndham Rewards inquiries, but they often lack accurate information and cannot provide clear answers. As a result of this misleading and inconsistent information, I have been unfairly inconvenienced.

I request a full explanation of how the Award Night inventory was allocated before it was ever made available through the Wyndham booking system. I also ask Wyndham to review this issue and provide a fair solution so that I can redeem my Wyndham Rewards points as intended.
