Wise and Rise Charged My Card Without Permission

On June 5, 2026, I was unexpectedly charged $2 for my membership with Wise and Rise, even though I had never updated the site with the details of my newly issued bank card. The payment was processed without my knowledge or authorization. To make matters worse, despite being charged, the website still displays an "Activate your membership" message, meaning I neither have an active, usable membership nor the ability to manage or cancel it.

I have been trying to cancel this membership for months. The Android app does not provide any option to cancel the subscription. When I log in through the website, I only see the "Activate your membership" message, and there is no section where I can cancel my membership. I intentionally did not update my card details because I believed the subscription would expire automatically, yet the charge was still made to my new card without my consent.

I have also been unable to contact the company through customer support or any other communication channel. There is no visible support line or clear contact method available. I request a full refund of the $2 unauthorized charge, the immediate cancellation of my membership, and confirmation that no future payments will be processed without my explicit authorization. I have transaction records and supporting documentation available and can provide them if needed.
