Wellcare Beauty Plus Collagen Price Shock: Pharmacy Refused My Refund
I purchased Wellcare Beauty Plus 10,000 mg liquid collagen for ₺1,750 from C**** Pharmacy, which is close to my home and where my spouse frequently shops. Trusting the pharmacy, I didn’t think twice about the price. However, after checking online, I discovered the same product was available for much less: ₺833 at Narecza and ₺730 at S**** Ecza.
I immediately called the pharmacy to request a refund, explaining the significant price difference. The employee claimed they couldn’t process refunds via card or cash and needed to consult the pharmacist. Within 15 minutes, I returned with the unopened product and receipt, only to be told refunds weren’t possible, but I could exchange it. When I insisted on a refund, they refused outright, leaving me with no solution.
This excessive markup feels exploitative. While businesses are entitled to profit, such drastic overpricing and refusal to refund are unacceptable. I left the product at the pharmacy and demand my money back within 14 days. Consumers should not tolerate such practices. Businesses must uphold fairness and transparency.
