I Can’t Register on WeChat Without a QR Code Reference

I’ve been trying to sign up for WeChat, but the registration process is completely blocked unless an existing user scans my QR code to verify my account. I had no idea this was even a requirement until I reached the final step and saw that I couldn’t proceed without someone else acting as a reference.

This is extremely frustrating—there’s no clear explanation or alternative way to complete registration. I don’t personally know anyone who uses WeChat, so I’m stuck. I even took a screenshot of my QR code, hoping someone could help me out, but there’s no official support channel to turn to for assistance.

WeChat, please offer a proper support solution for new users stuck in this verification loop. I’m requesting immediate help to get verified and start using the app. This process is confusing, restrictive, and completely user-unfriendly.
