VFS Global France Visa Appointment Hassle

I completed the application form for a France visa on the consulate page of VFS Global. Now, I received instructions on how to schedule an appointment, but even though I'm a registered user, I'm unable to access my account. I contacted them over the phone and they instructed me to send them the screenshot via email. I promptly followed their instructions and sent the screenshot. I received a response from VFS Bulgaria, which was automated. On the other hand, agencies have the convenience of securing appointments for 220 euros, even for a month in advance. I can't understand how this system functions. It would be more helpful if they simply recommended applying through agencies. I find it difficult to reconcile these cruel treatments with countries that consistently advocate for compassion and empathy.
