VFS Global Creates Last-Minute Difficulties for Student Visa Appointments

I'm having trouble getting an appointment with VFS Global in Ankara. They implemented a walk-in system for Ankara, with no appointments required, and simply instructed us to prepare our documents and show up. They did not, however, inform us that names were being written on the door. I arrived with only two days until my visa application deadline, and that's when they dropped the bombshell: names were being written, and I would have to wait until the evening. I'm desperate for a visa appointment because school starts in two weeks. I'm hoping they extend the deadline; otherwise, I'm not sure how I'll get to school on time. This unexpected turn has thrown a wrench in my plans, and I'm beginning to feel the strain. I hope they can find a way to accommodate all of us who are trapped in this situation.
