Wrongful Underage Ban - Umingle

I was banned from Umingle’s website on my Android device on May 16, 2026, after using the platform for only about 10 minutes. The ban reason shown was that I was supposedly under 18, and the screen now tells me I am banned and offers an “instant unban” option that costs money. I am 18 years and 7 months old, so I am legally an adult and eligible to use the service. Before this ban, Umingle never asked me to complete any age or ID verification such as uploading an ID or entering my date of birth. At some point, the system appears to have tried to assess my age from my face and incorrectly decided that I was underage. As a trans person, my appearance may look younger, but that does not change the fact that I am nearly 19 and above the minimum age requirement. I find it unacceptable that I have been banned as “under 18” when I am an adult, and that the only option shown to me is a paid “instant unban.” I did not violate any rules, barely had time to speak in chat, and I consider it unfair to be forced to pay to correct a mistake in your age‑detection or moderation system. I request that my account be unbanned without any payment requirement and that this underage flag be removed from my profile. I also ask that you provide a clear explanation of how I can correctly verify my age so this does not happen again.
