Turkcell Permanently Suspended My Phone Line Without Explanation

4

My postpaid mobile line, which I recently ported from Vodafone to Turkcell, was completely deactivated approximately 10 days after the transfer without any explanation or stated reason. Since Thursday, my line has been unable to make or receive calls, and I receive a “service unavailable” message. The line is effectively completely inactive.

During this process, I visited Turkcell stores and submitted a written complaint, called customer service numerous times, and contacted Turkcell through its online channels. However, each time I was simply told that my line had been “permanently restricted,” without being given any explanation for why this happened. I also never received an SMS or other notification explaining the restriction.

This number is used for both my work and personal communications, so having my service suddenly disconnected has caused me serious inconvenience and financial hardship. I request that Turkcell provide me with a clear, written explanation of why my line was permanently restricted and, at a minimum, allow me to port this number to another carrier.

I do not accept having my phone line deactivated without any explanation or being prevented from transferring my number to another operator. I expect Turkcell to urgently investigate this matter, explain the reason for the restriction in writing, and take immediate action to resolve the inconvenience I have experienced.
