I was shocked to discover that my Telegram account was banned, even though I barely use the app. I only access it occasionally to check my class groups, and I haven’t posted anything inappropriate, spammy, or against the community guidelines.
I haven’t used Telegram actively for a long time, and I certainly never shared anything that could be considered illegal, offensive, or in violation of privacy policies. Yet, my phone number was suddenly blocked, and I have no idea why. I wasn’t even notified or warned about any suspicious activity.
This feels incredibly unfair. There should at least be a reason given or a support option to appeal or understand the ban. If this is how Telegram handles user accounts without explanation, I won’t consider using or recommending the app again.
Telegram, I urge you to review my account status, explain the reason for the ban, and reinstate my access if no violations are found.
