Blackmail and Threats on Sugo Chat App
While using the Sugo chat application on my Android device, I was victimized by a subscriber with the phone number 0554****73. This person introduced themselves as a female, age 17, and I only engaged in conversation with the intention of casual chatting. However, the individual persistently tried to steer the conversation toward sexual topics. Shortly after, they blackmailed me using my personal photos and threatened to expose my information to my contacts if I did not comply.
My communication with this person began about 4 days ago. After the incident, I immediately closed my account and have not yet filed an official complaint through the app. I am now preparing to report this matter to law enforcement authorities.
My expectation from Sugo is that this account be investigated immediately and that, when I initiate legal proceedings, the necessary user details are shared with me or the relevant authorities. Furthermore, I request that preventive measures be taken within the platform to stop similar cases from happening to other users.
