Complaint For Unauthorized Staread Charges

I am writing to report an unauthorized transaction taken from my GCash account involving Starread Technology Limited and to request that this matter be urgently investigated and resolved. On October 20, 2026 at 12:27 PM, an amount of ₱699 was deducted from my GCash wallet for a payment to Starread Technology Limited. The Merchant Transaction Number is AD2112400248379547648 and the GCash Reference Number is 198155769. I did not authorize this payment, and I have never installed or used any application, subscription, or service connected to Starread Technology Limited. I already contacted GCash support about this issue, explained that the transaction was unauthorized, and requested help, but my request was refused. Despite this, I still maintain that I did not make or approve this transaction and that this deduction is not valid. I am using GCash in the Philippines and I rely on the balance in my wallet for my daily needs and school expenses. The loss of ₱699 is a serious burden for me, especially since it was taken without my knowledge or consent. I kindly request that GCash and Starread Technology Limited jointly investigate this unauthorized transaction, identify how it was able to go through without my consent, and process a full refund of the ₱699 back to my GCash wallet as soon as possible. I am providing the transaction details and the screenshot of the payment so that you can review the case more easily. I expect this issue to be handled promptly and for measures to be taken so that similar unauthorized deductions do not happen again on my account.
