I purchased my 2025 Skoda Superb Prestige 1.5 TSI mHEV 150 PS DSG vehicle brand new in November 2025, and I have been using it for approximately six months. The car currently has only 4,500 kilometers on it. Despite being marketed and sold as an upper-segment premium vehicle, the driving responses and system behaviors have absolutely no consistency. The vehicle reacts differently under the same conditions in a completely random manner, which creates serious disappointment in terms of both safety and driving comfort.
Approximately two months after purchasing the vehicle, I brought it to the Neskar Skoda dealership in Bursa Nilüfer. They tested the car, connected it to diagnostic systems, and told me that there was no problem. Instead of providing a concrete technical solution, they attempted to convince me with verbal explanations. The service manager explained that the car contains 32 separate modules working in synchronization and told me to record videos whenever the issues occurred so they could send them to the factory and “solve the problem together.” However, as a customer, I should not be expected to act as a free research and development employee, especially when these problems appear unpredictably during driving and are nearly impossible to capture consistently on video.
I am experiencing major inconsistencies across many of the vehicle’s systems. Sometimes the doors lock automatically when I leave the vehicle, and sometimes they do not. While the car is in coasting mode, sometimes the speed decreases when approaching the following distance limit, and sometimes it does not. At intersections, the system sometimes detects vehicles approaching from the sides and gives warnings, while other times it gives no warning at all. When I get too close to the vehicle ahead, sometimes a brake warning appears and sometimes it does not. Under the same road and driving conditions, the 48-volt electric motor sometimes activates and sometimes fails to activate. Every evening on the same road, the intelligent headlights behave differently. The hands-free trunk system occasionally works but often does not respond at all. During rain, the automatic windshield wipers sometimes fail to activate for long periods. In addition to these issues, there are many other examples of unstable and inconsistent system behavior throughout the vehicle.
Even though I explained all of these problems in detail to the Neskar Skoda dealership, the issues were dismissed with verbal explanations and no meaningful technical intervention or permanent solution was provided. Instead, it felt as though the situation was being managed through perception and excuses rather than genuine technical support. I did not purchase this vehicle expecting it to behave like a low-quality used car from a marketplace. On the contrary, I chose it because it was presented as a premium vehicle offering confidence, comfort, and reliability.
For these reasons, I demand a comprehensive and serious inspection of the vehicle’s sensors, ECU systems, related control modules, and software infrastructure. If necessary, I expect the software and/or related hardware components to be replaced entirely. At this point, I no longer expect a real solution from the dealership where I purchased the vehicle. I want Yüce Auto or the responsible authorized company to intervene directly and properly resolve this issue. Otherwise, because of the serious loss of confidence and disappointment I have experienced, I will consider pursuing legal action regarding this matter.
