I took delivery of my 2025 Skoda Superb from Aykan Skoda Kartal in Istanbul in late December 2025. From the very first day, there has been a serious wind noise issue when driving at around 110 km/h with the rear window slightly open. The noise intensifies as speed increases, making long drives extremely uncomfortable. Having driven lower-segment vehicles such as a diesel Renault Megane and a Nissan Juke without ever encountering this problem, it is unacceptable for a D-segment vehicle.
I reported this issue to Aykan Skoda Kartal’s service department within the first few weeks, and this visit is recorded in your system. Despite the problem existing since day one, the service team dismissed it as “normal” without providing any technical explanation. Skoda customer service gave the same response without conducting any inspection or test drive.
The vehicle currently has approximately 5,000 km and is still under the manufacturer’s warranty. A noise that does not occur in comparable vehicles cannot reasonably be considered “normal” without a proper comparative test. I should not have to pursue a solution from one service center to another; I expect Skoda to take full responsibility for resolving this issue.
My expectations are as follows: a thorough inspection that includes a comparative test drive at speeds above 110 km/h alongside another Skoda Superb; a warranty repair addressing the root cause, whether related to door seals, alignment, or the rear quarter glass; and, if the issue cannot be resolved after reasonable attempts, a clear resolution process, including the possibility of vehicle replacement if necessary.
I request that my vehicle (plate: 34PFE***, chassis: TMBAN8BZ0TC032***) be properly examined and repaired in accordance with the quality standards expected for this class of vehicle.
