Valorant Account Hacked After WhatsApp Account Sale Attempt

On August 26, 2026, my Valorant account with the Riot ID “nexsoravl#1609,” which had an approximate value of $409, was stolen by someone I contacted through Instagram. I initially contacted this person, whom I found on Instagram under the name “ayrox TR,” because I intended to sell my account, and we subsequently continued communicating through WhatsApp.

On WhatsApp, we discussed the account sale, price negotiations, and payment using IBAN details through a WhatsApp Business account registered under the name R**** D****** and the phone number +90 ***********44. During the attempted sale, I temporarily provided this person with some account information. However, without my explicit approval or consent, they changed my game account login credentials and the email address linked to the account, taking complete control of it. I then received an email from Riot Games with the subject “The email address for your Riot Account nladre has been successfully changed,” at which point I realized that my account had been taken over without my permission.

I currently have no access to my Valorant account whatsoever, and I have suffered a significant financial loss because of the skins and other content associated with the account. I have all of our WhatsApp conversations regarding the account transfer, payment, verification codes, and login issues, as well as screenshots of the profile registered under the name R**** D******. I can provide these materials if requested.

I request that Riot Games investigate and verify that I am the original and rightful owner of the account, review the relevant security and access records, and restore the account to my original email address and account information. I also request that appropriate action be taken against the person who took control of my account without my permission and that steps be taken to resolve the harm I have suffered.
