My pet won't eat Purina anymore! What should I do?

Your pet may refuse Purina food, but there are several solutions:

• After switching to a new Purina formula, slowly reintroduce it. Over 7-10 days, gradually add more new food to their old food until they're fully transitioned.

• Add a little warm water or low-sodium chicken broth to the kibble to improve its flavor. This can make food more appealing to your pet.

• Portion control and a consistent feeding schedule are also crucial. Keep your pet's appetite in check with regular meals and no free feeding.

• Avoid overfeeding, which can cause food boredom, by measuring portions by age, weight, and activity level.

If your pet refuses Purina despite these efforts or you suspect health issues, see a vet. They can advise and suggest Purina formulas for picky eaters and sensitive stomachs. Your vet may suggest a short-term switch to a different brand or a homemade diet (with moderation and balance) to get your pet to eat again, provided it meets their nutritional needs.
