Proton VPN Android App Won't Stay Connected

I have been using Proton VPN on my Android device for about two months, and I experience connection problems almost every other day. The app suddenly stops connecting, and every time this happens, I have to clear all of the app data to make it work again. Once I clear the data, I am logged out, and only after signing back in and setting up my membership again does the app temporarily start working.

In addition to these repeated login and setup issues, the VPN connection also drops on its own from time to time. These problems happen on both mobile data and Wi-Fi, so the issue is not limited to one specific network. Even though I pay approximately $6 every month through Google Play, the app’s performance is no longer reliable, and the constant connection drops have caused serious inconvenience.

I have not specifically contacted Proton VPN customer service because I believe I would likely receive an automated response and that the issue would not be properly resolved. Because of the ongoing connection failures, repeated sign-in requirements, and random disconnections, I am not satisfied with the service.
