I want to share my experience and the difficulties I'm facing with the authorized service for my 2023 Peugeot 408. I bought my car about 2-2.5 months ago. On October 21, 2024, I was involved in an accident. The damage includes a 10 cm dent on the right front fender, minor damage to the right front bumper, and the deployment of the pedestrian protection system on the front hood. I took the car to the authorized service on October 23, 2024, for repairs. The service didn’t have the necessary parts in stock, so we had to wait 2-3 weeks for them to arrive. The absurdity began here. How can an authorized service not have the required parts? Eventually, the parts arrived, but now we’re facing another issue. For the past five days, the service claims they don’t have the paint or even the paint code. They are planning to use trial and error to find the right paint. Is this how a manufacturer should operate? This process has caused me significant inconvenience. As a family with children, we recently bought this car, and now we’re stuck in an incredibly frustrating situation. The delay is unacceptable, and there is neither care nor proper communication from the service. It's deeply disappointing.
