Peugeot 2008 Windshield Crack Problem
Hello, in my 2024 Peugeot 2008 vehicle, which I recently purchased, a crack appeared on the windshield when the weather was hot and we turned on the air conditioning. I believe the windshield is made of two layers. There is a crack on the outer glass, but not on the inner glass. When we contacted the service, they said they'd check with the center to see if this was covered by the warranty. On July 17, 2024, Ms. N**** called and stated that this was a crack caused by external factors and that it was not covered under warranty. Now I'm wondering how it could be an external factor if there is no trace of it on the glass. In my opinion, this is a complete manufacturing flaw. We also extended the warranty when purchasing the vehicle. I believe they will realize their mistake, so I will wait until August 1, 2024. If I do not receive a positive response, I will pursue legal action.
