OmeTV Banned Me After I Responded to Racist Harassment
I am writing regarding a ban that was placed on my OmeTV account today while I was using the service on my iPhone. I would like to appeal this decision, as I believe the situation was not evaluated fairly. During a chat, another user called me the N-word, which is a racist slur directed at Black people. I was understandably upset and reacted by showing my middle finger in response, but I did not start the harassment and did not use any racist or offensive language myself. Despite this, my account was banned, whereas the other user’s behavior, which was clearly racist, seems to have gone unpunished. I have already tried to contact OmeTV support about this issue through your support channels, but so far I have not received any response. I am asking you to review the chat in question, evaluate the context of what happened, and lift the ban on my account. I also kindly request that you take appropriate action against users who use racist slurs, so that victims of harassment are not the ones who end up punished.
