Appealing an 800-Hour OmeTV Ban
A short while ago on the OmeTV app, my account was given an 800-hour ban due to an incident that occurred during a video chat. The person on the other end insulted me, and I reacted angrily in response. I understand that my reaction was not appropriate, and I accept responsibility for my part in the situation.
However, I believe that an 800-hour penalty is excessive and disproportionate. In cases involving rule violations, I believe a warning or a reasonable suspension—such as one day or at most one week—would be more appropriate. An 800-hour ban makes it nearly impossible for me to use the app.
I respectfully request that OmeTV review the 800-hour restriction placed on my account and reduce the penalty to a more reasonable duration. I am willing to accept a warning and to be more careful in following the rules moving forward, but I do not believe such a lengthy ban is fair.
