Nike Elite Football Boots Studs and Upper Tear After 2 Months
On 01.08.2026, I purchased a pair of Nike Elite football boots from the Nike store in Ümraniye City’s Shopping Mall. After a very short period of use, approximately 2 months, the studs of the boots broke, the upper lace area tore and there were also tears at the tips. I do not consider it normal for such extensive deformation to occur in such a short time. I took the boots to the store and they were sent for inspection, but my request for a replacement was rejected. I genuinely wonder what is required for a pair of football boots to be considered a manufacturing defect, because for them to reach this condition in about 2 months is unacceptable. I have used Nike Elite boots many times before and have never encountered such a problem, and I mention this to emphasize that the issue is not due to user error. I paid a high price of ₺14,449.92 for this product, and I do not accept that, despite the product deteriorating so quickly, my replacement request has been refused. I request that the product be re-examined in an impartial and detailed manner, evaluated as a defective product, and that my boots be either replaced with a new pair or that a refund be issued. Otherwise, I state that I will pursue my rights before the consumer arbitration committee and other relevant official authorities.
