I just got a trident in Minecraft, but it’s almost broken, how can I repair it?

In Minecraft, you'll need an anvil and another trident to fix a broken one. Tridents can be bought from locals or looted from mobs that have drowned. Once you have two tridents, open the anvil window and put the broken trident in the left slot and the extra one in the right slot. This will let you put them together and make the broken trident strong again.

Part of the extra trident's longevity is lost during the repair process. If the extra trident gets broken too, it will be used to fix the main trident. How much durability is recovered is based on how much durability the extra trident still has.

To get the most work done, put all of the slightly damaged tridents on the anvil at the same time. This method uses fewer resources than fixing each one separately. Any spells that are on your trident will also stay on it when you fix it on an anvil. However, merging tridents with different enchantments might cause the enchantments to be lost, and using higher-level anvils will make the repair cost go up.
