Michelin Primacy 5 Tire Blows Out While Driving, Prompting Warranty Claim

I use Michelin 225/45/17 Primacy 5 tires on my vehicle. Under normal driving conditions, without any impact or user error, my tire suddenly blew out and disintegrated while I was driving. Experiencing such a failure with a brand I trusted for its reliability leaves me deeply disappointed. The tire was manufactured during the 46th week of 2024, installed on my vehicle on July 19, 2025, and suffered this failure on July 12, 2026—meaning I encountered this severe issue in less than a year.

This situation endangered my driving safety and completely shattered my trust in the Michelin brand. I contacted the Efecan Otomotiv dealership in Aydin as well as Michelin directly, but neither offered a satisfactory solution or resolved my issue. They merely redirected me back to the purchasing dealership, which yielded no results.

Because the tire blew out in such a short timeframe without any impact or user error, I consider this a manufacturing or quality-control defect. I demand that Michelin evaluate this tire under warranty, replace it, and resolve my grievance. Due to this negative experience, I do not plan to purchase or recommend Michelin tires now or in the future.
