Michelin Pilot Sport 5 Tires Lose Traction and Pose Safety Hazard on Opel Astra

I purchased Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires in February 2026 for my Opel Astra and have used them for approximately 5,000 km. However, the tires slip terribly under all road and weather conditions, inspiring zero confidence in the vehicle.

Whether in wet or dry conditions, even during normal driving, the grip is poor, making it feel as though I am about to lose control of the car during turns and sudden maneuvers. This jeopardizes my safety as well as the safety of others on the road. I did not expect this level of performance from Michelin, a brand I chose specifically for its premium reputation.

Although the dealership where I purchased the tires is located in Bursa, I cannot recall its name at the moment, and I have not yet spoken with the dealer or Michelin customer service. I request that my tires be inspected and tested if necessary, that a solution be provided for this safety hazard, and that I be assisted with a replacement or refund if they are found defective.
