I Face Axa Insurance Claim Denial After Water Damage Leak
"Within the home insurance I purchased from Aksa Sigorta, about a month ago I experienced damage due to water leaking to the lower floor. After the damage, I applied to Aksa Sigorta, provided all necessary information, and a file number 628210466 was opened. As a result of the investigation, I was informed that no payment would be made for my damage, with the reason being the fault of the contractor who previously performed the installation. However, the main reason I took out home insurance was to avoid being victimized by such unexpected damages, and having my file completely rejected by citing “contractor error” disappointed me. During this process I spoke repeatedly with the call center and via e‑mail, but the outcome did not change and my damage was not paid. I am writing this complaint so that my grievance is recognized and so that other citizens know what kind of approach they may encounter in such situations. I expect Aksa Sigorta to re‑evaluate this file and provide a solution that will not leave me disadvantaged."
