I Paid Upfront at Medigold Physical Therapy Without Flexible Payment Options
On Friday, April 18, 2025, I took my spouse to the physical therapy department at Medigold. We paid ₺1,300 for the initial consultation, and the doctor recommended a 15-day therapy program. The next day—Saturday, April 19—we were scheduled to begin treatment. But when we arrived, we were shocked to be told that we had to pay ₺3,900 upfront for the sessions before anything could begin.
We asked if we could make the payment the next day, but the clinic refused. There was absolutely no room for flexibility or understanding, even though we were ready to commit. We felt pressured and humiliated by the staff’s attitude. For a healthcare institution, this kind of rigid and profit-focused behavior is unacceptable.
I’m extremely disappointed in Medigold’s handling of the situation. People turn to medical professionals for care and support—not to be forced into immediate full payments without options. I strongly urge Medigold to review their payment policies and treat patients with more empathy and fairness.
