Kraken SWIFT Withdrawal Delayed After Account Was Blocked
I am writing regarding a serious problem I have experienced with my Kraken account involving a blocked account and a delayed SWIFT transfer, which has caused me significant financial and personal distress. On 20.05.2026, Kraken blocked my account and held my transactions without a clear reason. I immediately provided all requested documents, including my company documents, bank statements and other relevant information. Everything was clear and transparent, yet my funds remained blocked. During this time, I was abroad in the Netherlands and, because I could not access my own money, I was left literally on the street with no financial means. I was forced to struggle with basic needs such as accommodation and daily expenses, and I experienced a great deal of stress, anxiety and uncertainty simply because I could not reach my own legally earned money. Despite sending several emails and trying to reach real customer service support, I could not get an effective solution, could not speak to a real person, and felt completely helpless and victimized by this situation. After holding my transfer for many days, almost 30 days later Kraken informed me that if I added a bank account, they could send my money back within 1–5 business days. I followed this instruction and added my bank account, then requested a SWIFT transfer of 4,500 EUR on 15 June. However, this withdrawal has now been pending for more than 10 days, and I have received no explanation or update regarding the delay. While I was given some response about the account block, there has been no clear answer at all about why my SWIFT transfer is still not processed. My support reference is ticket #21390434. I request that my 4,500 EUR be released and transferred to my bank account immediately and that my case be reviewed urgently. I also expect a clear written explanation for both the unjustified blocking of my account and the long delay in the SWIFT transfer, as well as appropriate consideration for the serious financial and personal hardship I have suffered due to this situation.
