IKEA Table Top Was Sent Dented, 2 Times, Not Wrapped Well Enough
The number of my IKEA order is 312607231838316. On July 26, 2023, the middle of the table top I got was broken because it was damaged in shipping. I called IKEA's customer service, and they told me to ask Yurtici Kargo to send a messenger to pick up my package. Yurtici Kargo told me, though, that they can't pick up things from houses. So, I had to take the broken table top to the store myself so it could be replaced. After 16 days, a different shipping company sent a new table top. Unfortunately, the middle of this replacement fell inward when it came, just like the last one. When I called IKEA again, they told me to write the complaint again. It seems like sending back and forth will never end, and there is no end in sight. Worst of all, the new table top wasn't wrapped well. They sent a big table top with just a little bit of wrapping, but they sent a small item without enough protection at first. I am very upset about what happened, and I won't be shopping at IKEA again. I feel like I have to tell other people not to shop there too. The bad way my orders were handled, the broken things, and the lack of good customer service have made me angry and unhappy. I thought IKEA, which has a good name, would do better.
