I’m having a really frustrating issue with my Huawei GT 5 smartwatch. I paired it with my Samsung A34, and while the watch connects via Bluetooth just fine, it won’t make or receive phone calls at all.
In the Bluetooth settings, the "Calls" option keeps turning off by itself. I switch it on, and within 5–6 seconds, it flips back to off. I’ve tried everything—resetting the phone, unpairing and repairing the watch, even rebooting both devices multiple times. At one point, resetting the phone seemed to help briefly, but the issue came back almost immediately.
What’s the point of buying a smartwatch with call features if they don’t actually work with common Android devices like Samsung? This feels like a basic compatibility failure that should’ve been addressed before launch.
Huawei, I need a real fix for this issue now. This is not what I expected from your latest smartwatch. Please offer a solution that works, or at least acknowledge the problem and provide a timeline for a fix.
