Google Pay Refused to Help With My Game Refund Request
On December 14, 2025, I spent approximately $221 through Google Pay on in-game purchases for the game Dünya Ağacı Odyssey. Later, I realized that the game owners were misleading users and failing to address the serious issues experienced within the game. Because of this, I submitted a refund request through Google Pay for the transactions.
However, during my application with Google Pay, I was simply told that I needed to contact the game developers directly regarding the issue, and no meaningful assistance was provided. Customer support closed the process with what felt like a dismissive and careless attitude, without even requesting additional evidence, screenshots, or detailed documentation related to my complaint.
Since I believe I did not receive fair value for the purchases made through Google Pay and that I was seriously misled and financially harmed, I request a full refund of the approximately $221 spent on the game. I also expect the transaction and complaint process to be properly reviewed instead of being redirected without any real investigation or customer support.
