A non-mandatory insurance fee was charged to me for the loan I received from Garanti BBVA, without my knowledge or consent. According to the relevant article of Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers, if the insured requests it, the policy can be canceled and the charged amount must be refunded to the customer. Based on this regulation, I am requesting the cancellation of the insurance and the refund of the related amount to my account. If this issue is not resolved, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board.
