Fossil FS5453 Watch Fault Returned After Repair

On 24 July 2026, I purchased a Fossil FS5453 men’s watch from GALERIA in Frankfurt, Germany, for €135.20. In August 2026, I contacted the authorised Fossil service centre in Türkiye (Saat&Saat), because the watch had developed a fault. At first, I was told there would be a charge due to an integrated coil fault. After further review, the watch was accepted under warranty and both the movement and the battery were replaced free of charge. I received the repaired watch on 16 September 2026. However, on 25 September 2026, just nine days later, the watch was already running approximately six minutes slow and showing the wrong date. I documented this problem with a photograph. Following this, I contacted Fossil customer support several times. I received contradictory information: one response advised me to contact the original seller (GALERIA in Germany), while another directed me back to the service centre in Türkiye. Eventually, I was told again that I should send the watch to the technical service centre for a new examination. I do not accept a second repair attempt by the same service centre for the same type of problem that reappeared only nine days after the first repair. My trust in the reliability of the product and in the warranty process has been seriously damaged by this experience. For this reason, I am formally requesting a replacement watch rather than another repair attempt. I am directing this request both to GALERIA in Germany, as the seller, and to Fossil (including the headquarters in Texas, USA) as the manufacturer and brand owner. So far, I have not received any confirmation that this replacement request has been accepted. I am sharing this experience to emphasise that after‑sales service and the handling of recurring faults are just as important as the appearance and price of a product. I kindly ask you to approve my request for a replacement watch and to restore my confidence in the brand.
