Fitme App Charges Unauthorized $16 Fee After Misleading $0.49 Ad
The company named Fitme created an unauthorized subscription and withdrew $16 from my credit card. While attempting to purchase a service displayed as a $0.49 trial in an exercise program advertisement I encountered online, I entered my credit card details. When I reached the confirmation stage, I noticed the amount suddenly appeared as $16 and did not authorize this transaction; despite this, $16 was withdrawn from my card on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
This transaction was processed from my virtual card issued by QNB Finansbank. I cannot find clear contact information or an explanation in Turkish regarding the company, and because the language is English, I am having difficulty finding a point of contact. Up to this point, I have been unable to submit a formal dispute or refund request to either Fitme or my bank, but I want to explicitly emphasize that I definitely did not consent to or authorize this transaction.
I demand the cancellation of this unauthorized subscription and a full refund of the $16 drawn from my card. Additionally, I request a necessary investigation into such misleading advertising and subscription processes to prevent similar grievances.
